FAQ's

What is the best pro scooter for beginners?

There is not right or wrong answer here, since pro scooter riders come
in all sizes and skill levels the pro scooter that is right for one
rider might be wrong for another. The best way to help find the right
complete pro scooter is to know what size to get, for that check out our
pro scooter size chart here-https://www.luckyscooters.com/pages/pro-scooter-size-chart
Generally speaking a beginner rider that is 9 - 12 years old or younger and new to the sport would be best served with the CREW™ Complete.
This pro scooters compact size and low weight will allow the rider to
easily progress and learn new tricks. This scooter is also compatible
with all the Lucky parts and accessories so it can be modified as the
rider gains more skill or wants to trick out the build. If your little
shredder is under 8 years old we recommend the RECRUIT™ Pro Scooter.
This scoot is the smallest in our line up but does not sacrifice on
quality and durability. This scooter is also compatible with all Lucky
aftermarket parts so this scoter can grow with the rider until they are
ready for a larger deck.

Which Pro Scooter is the best fit for me?

The best way to help find the right complete pro scooter for you is to
know what size to get. For that check out our pro scooter size chart
here - https://www.luckyscooters.com/pages/pro-scooter-size-chart
For example, a rider that is 12 years old and new to the sport would be best served with the CREW™ Pro Scooter.
This pro scooters compact size and low weight will allow the rider to
easily progress and learn new tricks. This pro scooter is also
compatible with all the Lucky parts and accessories so it can be
modified as the rider gains more skill or wants to trick out the build.
If you're more of an intermediate to advanced rider the PROSPECT™ Complete
would be the perfect fit. The parts used on this pro scooter build are
strong enough for even pro level riders. If the bars are a bit too tall
getting them custom cut by a local shop is an easy way to have a
lightweight and very capable pro scooter.

How much do pro scooters cost?

Pro Scooters have a wide price range depending on the parts included on the build. If

you want the lightest and best scooter with Titanium Bars you can
easily get into the $500 price range for a full custom build. The Lucky
completes all offer aluminum bars which are light enough to keep the
performance high but do not sacrifice strength. Our bestselling complete
pro scooter is the PROSPECT™,
this complete retails for $199.95. The PROSPECT™ is a great scooter for
a beginner looking to build on their list of tricks or even experienced
riders competing in ISA events. Our entry level complete scooter, the CREW™
is suited for beginner and novice riders looking to get into the sport.
The Crew retails for $159.95 and offers a light weight build ready to
take on any park or backyard set up. We also have a complete scooter
meant for young shredders, the Recruit is designed to be your first
scooter and will hold up to the abuse that a beginner rider can shell
out. All Lucky complete pro scooters are backed by an industry leading
180 day warranty.

What is the difference between a pro scooter and a regular scooter?

The most notable difference between a regular scooter and a pro scooter is that pro
scooters
do not fold. Folding scooters are very dangerous to ride in skateparks
as they are not built for any tricks. We highly advice against taking a
folding scooter to a skate park. Pro scooters are designed and
manufacture to take the abuse riders can deliver when riding skateparks.
All Lucky Scooters are considered a Pro Scooter!

How heavy should a pro scooter be?

Pro Scooters come in all sorts of sizes that will greatly vary in
weight. We have found the sweet spot for both beginner and pro riders is
right around 7lbs. This allows the pro scooter to be light enough for
overhead tricks but also maintains its strength. Many Pro riders do like
their scooters lighter than this due to the level of tricks they are
throwing down. To do this you will see many riding Titanium Bars. While these bars often times cost more that the scooter deck they can significantly reduce the overall weight of the scooter.

What is the most reliable pro scooter brand?

In today’s market there are a number of newer brands trying to make a
name for themselves offering incredible discounts on their products but
should you buy one? Just like with any product you get what you pay for.
Your initial purchase may seem like the deal of a lifetime but the
warranty and compatibility issues with other brands often cause massive
headaches and usually result in purchasing a name brand scooter. Also it
is a good idea to take into account the warranty offered on the
scooter. For example if you compare Madd Gear, Root Industries, Envy
Scooters, Fuzion Pro Scooters and Ethic Pro Scooters Lucky’s warranty
takes the win. Lucky offers 180 day guarantee that our products will not
fail due to manufacturing defects.

Which pro scooter is best to buy in 2023?

Lucky offers a wide range of complete scooters and custom completes suited for any
style of riding and any skill level. The two most important factors to consider when

buying a pro scooter is deck size and bar length. We have an in depth
sizing chart to help make your decision easier. There is no right or
wrong answer here. Every riders has a different riding style and riding
skill level that will dictate what size scooter is best for them. Please
check out our pro scooter sizing chart HERE.

What is the best stunt scooter brand in the world?

The best scooter brand is not as important as the best scooter for you, if you have
the best scooter in the world that is too big for you the riding experience will be greatly
reduced. Also it is a good idea to take into account the warranty offered on the scooter.
For example if you compare Madd Gear, Root Industries, Envy Scooters, Fuzion Pro
Scooters and Ethic Pro Scooters Lucky’s warranty takes the win. We offer 180 day
guarantee that our products will not fail due to manufacturing defects.

What parts do you need to build a pro scooter?

To build a Pro Scooter there are very few tools that are needed for most jobs. For
assembling a Lucky Complete out of the box all you will need is the 5mm hex key that is
provided. This is used to tighten the compression, scooter wheels as well as the
scooters clamp. We make this as easy as possible for you. Most of the time the wheels
and compression are tightened to spec right from the factory, but it is always good to
double check. We suggest checking the scooters wheels on a weekly basis as this is a
part on the scooter that encounters repeated load from throwing bangers at the
skatepark. If your wheels are constantly coming loose using a small amount of blue
Loctite can be super helpful. If you neglect checking the axles on the scooter you are at
higher risk of damaging the bearing or even damaging the scooter deck. The scooters
compression is also something to keep your eye on, if loose there not as big of a risk to
damaging and parts. May riders do like their head set loose, when the compression is
loose your scooter will make a fair amount of noise and not pass the dial test. If you are
unsure of how tight these parts should be we suggest visiting a local scooter shop for
assistance.
